THIS SUNDAY: Club Ciclismo Rides Again!

Announcing Club Ciclismo First Fall Ride!!

In 1875 there was Custer’s Last Stand. In the fall of 2009 there will be Lauren’s Last Ride. On 9/17 Lauren will undergo shoulder surgery and will be off the bike for most of the gorgeous fall cycling season. To offer moral support and a last dose of cycling, please join Lauren and the Ciclismo Team on a gorgeous, brand new 30 or 60 mile route to ride out to the Bruce Freeman Trail. This ride will also kick off our fall Club Ciclismo Rides that Andrew, AK and MJ will be leading every Sunday throughout the fall so wear your favorite Ciclismo Classico jersey. Newcomers to Club Ciclismo are welcome! This route will head out the Minuteman Man Trail to Great Brook and hook up with the trail at its start at the intersection of RT 27/225. It emerges in Sudbury where our ride continue back to Arlington via Concord and Belmont.

What: Minuteman & Bruce Freeman Trail Road Ride with Lauren Hefferon & Team Ciclismo
Where: Starts and Ends at Jammin Java (Coffee Shop at 594 Mass Ave in Arlington Center)
When: Meet at 7:45 AM. Depart at 8:00. Return by 12:30.
Distance & Pace: 60 miles @ 14M-16PH average OR 30 miles @ 12MPH. 30 mile ride will ride out to start of trail and back
